Was working today! it was breezy but chilly - British Summertime is definitely over:( lucky for me I finished early and was back in Felixstowe at 3! A few of my mates were going to Bradfield and perhaps Levington because of the NW offshore wind but I didn't have time to get to another venue so took the boards to The Dip, the tide was very tide with the wind very light near the beach so I rigged big. I wobbled of the beach and headed over to Bawdsey bay, at this point the wind was very light but at least the water was flat! I was out for over two and a half hours and my max speeds went up slowly as the wind increased , 10.12,14,16,20 peaking at nearly 23 kts :) With the with dropping light and the tide against me I decided to beat back - slowly ! So it was an ok session even if cloudy and cool with the wind a bit on the light side! tomorrow looks promising for a trip to the River Stour at Bradfield ?
